Transformation of Woodlands Into a Regional Hub
Woodlands is the center of a major transformation in the North of Singapore, becoming the future Metropolis of the North. There will be a 100 hectares Woodlands Regional Center, with a scenic waterfront, and a vibrant 30 hectares regional retail hub with community and leisure amenities.
With the new integrated transport hub at Woodlands Central, residents of Bellewoods EC is at the forefront of the ultimate retail and leisure destination.
With the future cross-border rail link to Malaysia, Woodlands Regional Centre is set to come into its own as the Northern Gateway to Singapore. Featuring some 700,000m² of new commercial space and more than 100ha of developable land, the growth of the Woodlands Regional Centre will anchor the development of the North Coast Innovation Corridor.
More commercial and shopping options will progressively be made available in the Woodlands Central, with a future pedestrian mall running through the heart of the district.
Woodlands North Coast
As a significant employment cluster, the Woodlands North Coast will bring jobs and commercial opportunities closer to home for residents of the North Region.
Admiralty Park, the largest park in the North Region, will be transformed into one of three Destination Parks in Singapore, the other being East Coast Park and Jurong Lake Park. The hilly terrain here opens up many exciting possibilities to explore, including the possibility of having giant slides and climbing slopes that the whole family can enjoy together.
The integrated development located next to the Admiralty MRT Station brings together a number of amenities to better serve residents such as shops, a hawker centre, a childcare centre, two blocks of studio apartments with an activity centre for seniors, a medical centre with a senior care centre as well as a community plaza for all to enjoy.
